Looking for a sexy vampire romance set in paradise? Lynsay Sands delivers fake dating, mistaken identity, and sizzling chemistry on the shores of St. Lucia.
Book Blurb
Christian Notte’s story unfolds on the tropical island of St. Lucia. Carolyn, fresh off a painful divorce, joins her girlfriends for a much-needed vacation—only to find herself surrounded by honeymooners. The one single man? A too-young, too-gorgeous rock violinist named Christian. But when Christian asks her to play his pretend girlfriend to fool his family, sparks begin to fly. The catch? Christian is hiding a secret that could change her life forever.
My Review
In the midst of her divorce, Carolyn escapes to paradise… only to be reminded constantly of what she’s lost. Enter Christian—not just a charming, smoldering violinist, but the son of matchmaker extraordinaire, Marguerite Argeneau. One look, and Marguerite knows Carolyn is Christian’s destined life mate.
I’m not usually a fan of the fake dating trope when it involves lying to win someone’s heart—but Lynsay Sands makes it work. While I wished Christian had been more honest earlier, his heart was in the right place. The slow burn between them kept me turning pages, and the tropical setting added to the magic.
Lynsay has a gift for weaving steamy, emotional stories with lovable (and nosy) immortals. We meet Christian’s cousins—future stories, perhaps? I hope so. And yes, the heat level is exactly what fans expect: deliciously sexy.
Whether you're a longtime fan of the Argeneau vampire books or just diving in, this one is a great mix of humor, heart, and heat. Perfect for lovers of paranormal romance with a tropical twist!
💘 Ready for your next book boyfriend? Lynsay Sands delivers the swoon.
