Book Blurb

He's had a wild ride, and now sex club owner Josh Scott is looking for a change of scene. But first, he's determined to bring two friends together—and he's willing to be a third wheel to make it happen.

Beth Norris is eager to be set up with hot bartender Oliver Stephenson, but she's equally drawn to Josh. Soon, she's fantasizing about both men... and being the one to call the shots.

Oliver, ready to move on after a divorce, is coming to terms with his attraction to both Beth and Josh. But keeping his distance doesn't last long when the chemistry between the trio ignites in a night of mind-blowing passion.

As dawn breaks, it becomes clear that something deeper than desire is forming. But can Josh—who’s always helped others find love—take a chance on his own unconventional happily ever after?

My Review

Finally—Josh’s story! This one had been sitting in my TBR pile, and wow... why did I wait so long? I was honestly burned out from holiday romances (I know, bah humbug), and I needed something steamier. This book delivered in every way—scorching, wicked, and deliciously satisfying.

If you've read the previous Long Shots books—Double Shot, Shot in the Dark, and Pulled Long—you’ll know Josh has always had a bit of a dark side. That continues here for a while until we finally learn what’s driving him.

Beth is back—you might remember her from the coffee shop scene (yes, THAT scene). And new to the group is Oliver (just don’t call him Ollie). The three flirt, fumble with missed signals, and then... boom. 🔥 Christine d'Abo knows how to write tension that sizzles right off the page.

Of course, true to form, Josh lets his inner demons take over and pushes them both away. Thankfully, Beth and Oliver aren’t about to let that happen. Together, they remind Josh that love is worth the risk—especially when it’s built on trust, honesty, and yes... double the love.

While this could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting from the beginning. This entire series is binge-worthy!
