Book Review: Love at First Sight by Lori Wilde

Love at First Sight by Lori Wilde
Series: Twilight, Texas #1
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

My Review

Love at First Sight by Lori Wilde kicks off the Twilight, Texas series with a sweet and charming romance between two emotionally guarded characters. Joe is a man with a painful past who hides behind a playboy persona. Sarah is new in town, trying to make a fresh start after leaving behind a broken engagement. Their instant connection throws them both off guard.

The book brings just the right blend of emotional depth, humor, and sensuality. I appreciated how both characters had to grow, let go of fear, and risk being vulnerable to find something real. Lori Wilde creates believable tension and satisfying chemistry that builds into a heartfelt relationship.

This was a cozy, feel-good romance with a small-town setting, endearing side characters, and enough heart to keep you turning the pages. The story flows well, and even though there were some predictable elements, it still felt fresh and enjoyable.

Final Thoughts

For fans of emotional second-chance romances and small-town charm, Love at First Sight is an inviting start to what promises to be a feel-good series. I’ll definitely be continuing the Twilight, Texas journey.

My Favorite Quote

“Love isn’t always convenient. But when it’s real, you don’t walk away from it.”
