About the Book
Mary Kildare knows how to read people—which is both her strength as a therapist and her reason for avoiding relationships. Glen Fairchild, a charming pilot and playboy, has been her flirtatious frenemy for a year. When they finally give in to their chemistry, a cross-country romance blossoms. But when danger threatens Mary, Glen realizes that love can't survive at a distance—and he's willing to risk it all to keep her safe.
This story has it all—flirty banter, undeniable chemistry, suspense, and the kind of swoony moments that make you smile. Glen and Mary's story felt real, fun, and full of heart. Loved seeing familiar faces from previous books and meeting a heroine who holds her own!
My Review
Amazing! That pretty much sums it up. This book grabbed me from the first chapter and didn’t let go. Hilarious, heartfelt, filled with sizzling chemistry, and even a dash of suspense. I adore how Catherine Bybee develops her characters—Glen was always there for Mary, no questions asked. I laughed, swooned, and never wanted it to end. Thankfully, there's another Fairchild brother left, and I can't wait!
