My Answer:

2025 was a year of comfort reads for me, and the books that stood out weren’t always the flashiest—they were the ones that made me feel something.

I found myself gravitating toward authors I trust, stories that felt familiar in the best way, and characters I didn’t want to say goodbye to.

Romance and women’s fiction made up the heart of my year, especially small-town stories, second chances, and books that felt comforting without being forgettable.

Those are the reads that define a good reading year for me—not just high ratings, but stories that quietly stay with you.
