A sweet island-set romance with family drama, second chances, and a swoony fighter pilot hero. This one hit all my feel-good buttons.

Book Blurb
As unofficial matchmaker for beautiful Abrigo Island, Zoe Cash practices her own form of no-risk romance. And when Yeager Gates arrives in town for a little R&R, Zoe decides that he'll be her latest project. But the secure world Zoe's created for herself is turned upside-down when she finds herself falling for the sexy fighter pilot.
Yeager's flying days might be over, but spending time on Mother Earth with tantalizing Zoe is putting him back on solid ground. Yeager makes no secret of the fact that his island stay is temporary, but when the time comes, will he really be able to leave Zoe behind—for good?
My Thoughts
Christie Ridgway does it again. Not sure how I missed this one before, but I'm glad I finally picked it up. If you’re a lover of happily-ever-afters, this is one not to miss.
The hero, heroine, and even the minor characters are well-drawn, each dealing with their own struggles, yet love prevails—despite family drama, dysfunction, and a few twists along the way.
The island setting was charming, and the chemistry between Zoe and Yeager was believable and heartwarming. There’s plenty of humor, sweet moments, and just enough heat to keep things interesting.
A solid four-star read for anyone who enjoys contemporary romance with a strong community feel and a sweet but satisfying emotional payoff.
