It’s time for another Book Blogger Hop hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer! Each week, bloggers share their take on a fun, bookish question and hop around to connect with others. Here’s this week’s prompt:
This Week’s Prompt:
How many "book" bags do you have? Do you use all of them?
(submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Review)
My Answer:
I probably have more “book” bags than I care to admit — totes from library sales, author events, book boxes, and conferences. Some have adorable quotes or bookish artwork, others are so well-loved they could tell their own stories. I rotate through a few favorites for errands or weekend trips, but I’ll be honest — half of them are tucked neatly in my closet, waiting for their moment to shine. Every now and then, I donate one to a local book drive or fill one with giveaway reads for friends, which makes them feel useful again.
Books, bags, and happy endingsπ
What about you — are you a collector, or do you stick to one tried-and-true tote? Tell me in the comments or link me to your post — I’d love to hop over and see your answer!

Do you have a favorite
bookish tote or library bag?

to hear about it!
I have so many tote bags. Not many are book themed. They are just free from shops etc. I do have one bag specifically for books. It is apparently waterproof and drop proof.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Did you make the tote that matches the chair in the photo?
ReplyDelete@Emily Thanks! Sounds like your tote collection is ready for any adventure — bookish or not! I love that you have one bag dedicated just for books (and waterproof, too? That’s perfect!). Hope you get some cozy reading time this weekend.
ReplyDelete@B.J. Burgess- It’s actually a friend’s cozy reading corner — I couldn’t resist using it for the photo. That chair and tote just belong together, don’t they? She is a reader and a seamstress.
ReplyDeleteI'm a collector, but I definitely have my favorites. One is a Dick, Jane, and Sally print from my first grade primer.
ReplyDelete@Deb What a nostalgic print — that Dick, Jane, and Sally design sounds like such a sweet throwback to early reading days. I’d absolutely call that a favorite worth keeping!
ReplyDeleteThe totes I have with bookish artwork are actually filled with books. But I have a pink tote I use to ferry my horsey-riding gear around in, and a mini tote that I use to carry my book and bluetooth speakers out to the adirondacks in the garden. Those two are probably my favorites because i get the most use out of them.

@Idea-List That sounds perfect — practical and cozy! I love that your totes have their own personalities and purposes. The garden tote with books and a speaker especially sounds like the dream setup for a quiet reading day outside.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any book totes just a few regular tote bags that I use for errands. I like the book themed chair!
ReplyDeleteThat’s so kind, thank you! π And yes — even regular totes count in my book! I love that you mentioned the chair — it’s one of my favorite little cozy corners to photograph. I feel like every reader deserves a comfy book spot (totes optional π).
