I am firmly on Team Bookmark. No folded corners required.
Happy Friday! It’s time for another Book Blogger Hop hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer! Each week, we all answer the same bookish question and then hop around to see everyone’s responses.
This week’s prompt:
Are you team dog-eared pages or strictly no creases?

My Answer
I am definitely strictly no creases. I know some readers love the lived-in look of dog-eared pages, but I have always preferred using bookmarks.
There is just something about sliding a bookmark between the pages that feels like part of the reading experience. It can be pretty, seasonal, bookish, sentimental, or even just a receipt or scrap of paper when needed—but I would still choose that over folding a page corner.
I actually love bookmarks so much that I once featured them in my ongoing All Things Books series, where I spotlight different bookish favorites and reading-related details. Looking back, it makes me smile because some reading habits really do stick with us.
So yes, I am proudly Team Bookmark. My books may be well-loved, but I still like the pages to stay smooth.

Are you Team Bookmark or Team Dog-Eared Pages?
I would love to know where you fall on this one. Are you gentle with your books, or do you believe a folded corner is part of their story?
Stop by and let me know. Happy Reading!
