My Review
Evergreen Springs brings readers back to the picturesque town of Haven Point, where beloved town doctor Devin meets Cole, a single dad and rancher struggling to balance fatherhood and his responsibilities. Their lives intersect when Cole’s sister experiences early labor, and Devin steps in to help.
The chemistry between Devin and Cole is undeniable and heartwarming. Devin's quiet longing for motherhood and Cole’s belief that he’s unworthy of love add depth to their romance. Watching their relationship blossom through caregiving, trust, and emotional vulnerability makes this story both authentic and touching.
While the central romance is compelling, I found myself wishing for a bit more closure on Tricia and Sean’s story after the birth of the twins. And a deeper emotional resolution between Cole and his father would have added to the story’s richness. Even so, this book captures the spirit of Christmas and the healing power of community and love.
My Favorite Quote
“Sometimes we need the magic of the holidays to believe that healing is possible.”
Final Thoughts
Evergreen Springs is a comforting story about hope, healing, and finding love when it seems out of reach. With relatable characters and the warmth of a close-knit community, this book is perfect for readers who love holiday romances with emotional depth. If you're looking for a cozy winter read with a touch of grit and a whole lot of heart, this one's for you.
