Welcome back to another Book Blogger Hop hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer! — where each week, we chat about books, reading habits, and all the little cozy things that come with being a book lover.
This week’s question made me smile because my answer depends entirely on the kind of reading mood I’m in.
Book Blogger Hop Question
Do you read one book at a time, or juggle a few at once?

My Answer
I usually like to read one book at a time, especially if it is a story I am really pulled into. I enjoy giving one book my full attention and getting completely wrapped up in the characters, the setting, and the mood of the story.
That said, I do sometimes juggle a few books at once, but they usually have to be very different from each other. For example, I might have one cozy mystery going, one romance on my Kindle, and maybe a cookbook or nonfiction book that I pick up here and there.
I don’t do well when the books are too similar. If I’m reading two romances with similar small-town settings or two mysteries with the same kind of setup, I start mixing up characters and details. That takes the fun out of it for me.
