The best reading rituals often start with a warm mug, a good story, and a quiet corner.
Welcome to my end-of-week wrap-up! I'm linking up with the Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and the Sunday Salon hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
Hi friends,
This week felt like a true Books, Bites & Cozy Nights kind of week — a little reading, a little recipe inspiration, and a cozy new post for anyone who loves pairing books with quiet corners and warm mugs.
I also spent some time thinking about how much I love the small rituals around reading. Sometimes it is not just the book itself, but the coffee beside it, the recipe you make after, or the little space you create to settle in and enjoy the story.

ReplyDeleteI love getting my little reading space all settled with my coffee and my snack or whatever...socks, throw, etc. before settling down with my book.
My coffee bar is nothing special to look at but it's definitely convenient, right next to the stove and fridge with my silver spoons in a mug, my jar of Nescafe, and my two different caramel syrups. lol
That salmon salad looks good!
I love that! ☕ There’s something so relaxing about settling in with everything within reach before opening a good book. Your coffee setup sounds perfectly cozy—especially those caramel syrups! 😊 I hope you’ll give the salmon salad a try too. It was light, fresh, and perfect for a cozy reading day. Thanks so much for stopping by, and HappybReading! 📚🤍
DeleteThe salmon salad looks yummy. But I pretty much love salmon with anything.

I’m right there with you! 😊 Salmon is one of my favorite ingredients because it works with so many flavors. This salad was such a fresh, satisfying meal. If you give it a try, let me know what you think. Thanks so much for visiting! ☕📚 Happy Reading!
DeleteI hope to start Our Perfect Storm soon, too. I hope we both love it! Have a great week!
ReplyDeletehope we both love it too! 😊 I’m just putting the finishing touches on my review, which I’ll be posting on Thursday. Carley Fortune always has a way of pulling me into her stories, so I’m excited to hear what you think once you’ve started it. Wishing you a wonderful week and Happy Reading! 📚🤍
DeleteWhen we redid our kitchen some years back, we put in a little coffee bar. It's one of my favorite parts of the house now. I plan to think this week about the delights of slowing down and enjoying the moment while reading.
